Date Night

Walking down the street in the financial district of Manhattan on a Friday night, dressed to the hilt for a show on Broadway, arm-in-arm with my handsome husband, with a cool breeze gently tossing my hair and carrying my sheer wrap in the wind, taking in the plentiful glances of passersby, anticipating our candlelight dinner, this was a great way to start the evening.

The table was almost too small for all our food!

A fabulous bread pudding with vanilla gelato for dessert...YUM!!

Our theater was right off Times Square, so we took a subway ride after dinner to get there.

 We saw Chicago...

In a neat old theater, much smaller than the Orpheum.

We were literally on the back row in the balcony and I loved it!
We sat on a little row by ourselves!!

What a great night! My sweet husband sure knows how to make much of a celebration. What a wonderful way to spend our first anniversary.
