It is such an encouragement when Matt goes with me. I've never enjoyed exercise as some do, especially not exercise for exercise's sake. Recreational exercise is often easier, but routinely less convenient and impractical on an ongoing basis.
What I find odd is that I am definitely pushing myself, but I don't ever get sore muscles. Walking up the stairs at home, I notice weaker muscles after a workout, but no soreness. Lately though, I have experienced a lot of pain in my feet right at the completion of aerobic exercise and in my lower back well after I've finished.
My hope is that my efforts at strength training will reap benefits of no more pain.
Although this contraption beckons me with the symbol for love, I'm not yet a believer in its goodwill toward me.
My enemy: May it one day be a friend.
